To proactively work as a business partner with Sales by providing actionable analytics and information on customers for decision making by the sales team and management. To maximize profit, advanced excel and miscrosoft access should be used for analysis and reporting. This will enable the analytics team to elevate the depth and scope of analytics to enable great focus and precision on profitability.

  • Work with retail sales representatives and Directors, analyze Teva’s product portfolio to determine the most profitable product mix and determining customer profitability to support sales efforts with external customers.
  • In the field and at regional sales meetings, train, educate and teach new and existing sales representatives how to effectively and accurately Analyze Teva’s product portfolio to determine the most profitable product mix to support Canada sales efforts with external customers.
  • Ensure customer compliance to terms, deliverables and conditions of existing and future generic penetration program agreements.
  • Collaboration with supporting functions to ensure optimized information flow to and from the sale team.
  • Travel required (Up to 30% travel)


Degree in commerce, business or economics or relevant business experience

1-3 years of business or relevant experience

Pharmaceutical experience preferred

Ability to learn/quick starter

Positive attitude


Computer Proficiencies Required:

  • MS Office experience is mandatory
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel is mandatory and strongly valued
  • Experience with MS Access is a strong benefit
  • Comfortable with various databases and data management and manipulation

Functional Knowledge Required:

  • Business knowledge particularly business analytics
  • Extracting data from sales data systems and warehouses
  • Ability to filter through mass data and pull out key insights
  • Business data analytics
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and strong knowledge of MS Access to develop automation in key analysis areas
  • Experience with customer interactions a benefit

Company / Industry Related Knowledge:

  • Understanding of challenges/opportunities in the generic space
  • Moderate understanding of the market variances by province
  • Ability to solve complex/sensitive problems sometimes using creative thinking to do so
  • Has the ability to anticipate problems, identify and evaluate potential sources of information.
  • Ability to work effectively on unclear, ambiguous or contradictory problems.
  • Applies several analytic/creative techniques to break apart complex problems into components problems/issues
  • Exceptional ability in the practical application of complex ratios, rates, statistics, averages, fractions and percentages
  • Ability to translate quantitative data into diagrams, graphs, charts and reports
  • Strong ability to manage conflicting priorities, time sensitive analysis and work under pressure.
  • Build strong relationships with sales reps, management and key internal partners
