Markham (Hood Road) - Monday to Friday - 10.30pm to 7am

The Packaging Operator will be responsible for safely packaging product through operating various equipment in accordance with the master batch record. Ensuring compliance with applicable and related SOPs and GMPs.


  • Operate packaging equipment at established line speeds.
  • Inspect finished product according to specifications.
  • Maintain familiarity with GMPs, SOPs and packaging instructions.
  • Complete documentation accurately as required.
  • Assist in the cleaning and set up of packaging lines.
  • Maintain packaging area in a clean, neat and orderly manner.
  • Work in a safe manner in accordance with Teva Canada policy.
  • Follow appropriate SOPs and GMPs as required.
  • Adhere to Health & Safety procedures, OH&S Act, and follow the proper use of process equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


  • Minimum successful completion of High School diploma.
  • One (1) year of pharmaceutical experience.
  • Demonstrated mechanical ability with high speed machinery.
  • Good knowledge of Health & Safety procedures, including, OH&S Act & WHMIS.
  • Solid fundamental mathematical skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a high performance team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  •  Demonstrated knowledge of SOP’s, GMP’s and Health and Safety procedures, including OH&S Act WHMIS is preferred
  • Successful completion of Literacy and Math test is required.
  • Ability to lift 20 kgs. on a regular basis
  • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment and Respiratory Protection



Note: Technical SOP training will take place during standard office hours during the day for the first 1-2 weeks.
